VIP Program Coordinator, NCOE Community Programs

Hello, my name is Aeryn. I am the program coordinator for the VIP program. I'm from Petaluma, CA. I was a former AmeriCorps VIP Member! As a VIP Member, I was a recipient of the many benefits of this unique program. This program provides resources to be a leader, opens doors to the nonprofit sector, creates lasting friendships, challenges you, and helps you develop a better skill set to have positive impact of greater magnitude. I joined the NCOE Community Programs staff in hopes that I can provide a well-rounded and enriching service experience for future AmeriCorps members. I love the people that work for this program! Also, the hard work and dedication the VIPs bring to their service term to make a difference in the community. A couple of interesting facts about me are that I open water swam from San Francisco to Marin under the Golden Gate Bridge, and I was 23 the first time I tried a donut. One piece of advice I would give future members is to ask a million questions and use your resources.
